As of the first of January 2017, rates of the 1G and 10G ports are reduced for all BNIX Participants.
This new price reduction should motivate them to increase the capacity of their interconnection to BNIX.

Brussels, 9 June 2011 – BNIX, the Belgian National Internet eXchange, is lowering its rates for new and existing participants.
This Tuesday morning 8th of February, BNIX performed a scheduled maintenance on its platform. With this intervention we have doubled the BNIX backbone capacity! BNIX has now a backbone capacity of 40Gbps. By using diverse paths we have also increased the redundancy.
